PostSubject: Self Evaluation, 6-15-2012   Self Evaluation, 6-15-2012 EmptyFri Jun 15, 2012 3:05 am

Well here goes a posting for me, third in all. I was supposed to post tactics, and sometime I will.

this is for 6-15-2012, as I was taking lead and making descions what to do, and such, rp was there, and I wouldn't mind anyone else sounding off that was there, too.

I'm thinking I was flubbing a bit there on ideas what to do, and what we were conducting, and leading to boring set ups. Sorry about that guys, and the FB defence mission that took us over half and hour doing, then we leave, and poof it disapears, specficaly the Waterloo to Brussels FB.

I don't know I looked at the map, and everything seemed so hard to figure out what HC was doing, and what the hell was with AO's that didn't make any sense at all.

good points-

You guys organized up very well, and put a plan in motion. Executed it quickly and very efficently. I would say that we'd need more training on people with specialized weapons like grenadier, and tactics on how to cause a mass distraction, or split ews/aws trigger in two places at once, while staying in the loop with the other teams. Some call diving the group in to smaller, 3 person groups squadding, or even A-teaming. Either way I would have to say that the colaboration was very solid, and I think theres enough knowledge to go around today that we know how to en masse into two targets at once, and carry out a precamp while the other does whatever.

Other good points were the rotaional set ups and who did what. We did call it, and we had good weapons coverage of what we were doing, and very supeior speed to achieve these things.

Our communication was great in our group, however my level of fustration wasn't related with our group, it was others not saying a word about how they'd suddenly hot drop into FB's and get the points, and run for it pretty much, leaving us a bit screwed. I think we practiced what we felt, or as I decided, effective tactics in case the FB's were protected. One such mission proved this, as I was dropped off out the truck, the other member (The Danish super hero that told me they make great cakes) moved out for a wide flank manuver. All said in done, the enemy had out a Stuart and a Panhard, and they honestly thought we were further east than we accualy were, spawned in, and while armor was out chasing ghosts, we got the FB sapped.

Finaly I would have to close this by saying I feel like occasionaly I step over a line by taking "point" and comming up with ideas, so I back off when I see a nco/co/xo show up, anyone with rank, cause its really not my place to be leading. Also, i respect who's in charge since I know they posses more knowldedge than I. Hence I give my report and shuffle into line.

BTW, FF, great job today on the working of the FB's and such and thank you!

Judge my man.

Awesome job leading us around yesterday. It was MASSIVELY appreciated!
Helping the two noobies get some tactics under their belts. Potato and freesmg or whatever his name is lol.

second FB bust was a total cockup on HC's part.

HC pulling Brussels after we setup, morons.
HC pulling Couvin after we setup, morons.

I totally had a great time!

And I was impressed with your leadership.
and I was also really impressed with how well the squad worked together.

Ye ha! FF!!

Any member is more than welcome to take lead Judge. You keep up the good work, that is excellent to hear! There is always a few things to work on though that is for sure and I will direct you to a post that does help keep your goal in-tact. But this goes for the rest of you guys if you have an op worth going for, make sure you give it a go, especially if the guys are up for it. Officers can't be on all the time haha!

As an NCO Judge I had no problem letting you run your ops. No worries mate, I did not feel you crossed any line. Very Happy Although asking us all to wear panty hose while we did those ops came close.

Man, I wish I had turned my FRAPS camera on last night. That firefight we had during our initial raid on the Brussels EAB was epic.

For those that weren't there, we had a squad of about 8 people, mostly SMG's, running around in a tight formation around Brussels, capping the hell out of the place.

After we captured most of the depots (the last one being the Wavre Depot, on the east side of the city), we decided to make an attempt on the east army base, to see if they were defending it. The plan was to move in cautiously, see how strong the defenses were, and if they were weak, capture it, and if they put up a fight, then bypass it and head to the munitions plant to the north.

We made contact with an enemy soldier near the southeast corner of the army base. After a brief skirmish, the soldier realized he was outnumbered and disengaged. Half the squad held their ground and covered that corner of the base, while I led the other half of the squad around to the southwest corner.

We encountered an additional enemy soldier near the barracks, but he was quickly despatched. I moved up into one of the smokestack buildings in the base and took a look around. I spotted an enemy LMG up on top of one of the fuel tanks covering the southeast approach (where the initial contact had been made) and took him out. I then noticed that there were several enemy soldiers inside the bunker building, looking out the windows. Realizing that the enemy was not going to let us have the base, I gave the order to withdraw southwest.

We fell back under a moderate amount of enemy fire. We popped a few smoke grenades, and while the southeast team was crossing the open to reach our position, the southwest team put down suppressive fire with our SMG's, which seemed to keep the enemy at bay. We then proceed west to circle around the army base. Avinyard, who was straggling a bit, got picked off by an enemy sniper who had attempted to flank us to the east, but I believe that was the only casualty.

As we traveled north around the west side of the army base on our way toward the munitions plant, we could see enemy soldiers running around the army base frantically trying to figure out what had just happened. Cool

While you lot were galavanting around Brussels, I was working with yrpilla and crew to defend the FBs. Wow, the Allies sure wanted those badly!

It was a constant battle for the whole afternoon, especially after we lost Leuven FB. Then things got really hot!

Great fun!

I I got a massive 11 points with my 232!

Smile

What was also good about it was that Judge and I held the FB during constant EI and EA attacks, so Eggert and his squad could continue. Five times we fought them off killing 3 laffleys and 3 efrus. They finally bum rushed us and kicked us but, we came back and took it back from them. It was a real good effort by FF with squaddies supporting squaddies. Judge did try to send me naked pictures of himself though. To be honest, I let him. He actually looks pretty good in that blue strap-less number that brings out his eyes.

Don't like the Allies, they have small hands and smell like cabbage. The remind me of carnies!!

And that was only the first hour!

During the second hour, we raided the Center AB (arriving too late to assist the Windhund guys who went in before us, and got kicked out ourselves), captured the rail station, made some poor Allied soldier soil himself, and captured the East AB. During the third hour, we repulsed several enemy attacks at the East AB, recaptured some flags that they retook, and hunted down several enemy tanks.

We managed to keep our casualty rate down quite low as well. I believe our collective k/d was around 2:1.
