Foward Base Training

We might need to focus on a couple training producers guys. We haven't been too effective at taking down FB's as we used to be. Not to point out the new guys or anything but there seems to always have something go wrong. Just keep your eye open for any date. Only saying this because this is one of those valuable tactics our squad is well known for. Glider missions and destroying enemy's ability to capture our towns.

We need to work on basic drilling (formations, fire team command and control, maneuvers, etc.) to improve discipline before we try to get too elaborate. I suggest we take on some fairly simple missions (FB busts can be included) and just work on making sure everyone knows where he needs to be and what he needs to be doing. Just as importantly, the officers need to work on leadership skills (i.e., giving orders and keeping track of a fire team in the heat of battle). As it is, we tend to way too strung out and separated way too quickly, and often people do not respond quickly or effectively enough to changes in the situation.

very true. Too many times I see people bunching up wayy to close. Thank god that we haven't ever been spotted, but we must work on basic field maneuvers & spacing. Were one of the few squads that value working truly together on the field. It makes us 10x better in keeping an eye out for the enemy and increasing awareness.

Last night's armored op was pretty awesome, all things considered. Next time we just need to remember to bring along a truck to provide us with ammo and to set up an FRU for infantry support. I think having a rough mission plan laid out ahead of time helped a lot.

Very true statement as done in the past with those pre-planned ops. Never had one of them be unsucessful in exception to that town far south. But even that one came real close a while back. But If you remember BOZ, Vliss, Veere, Willemstadt. Always successful, proper planning = proper execution.
