Thought it was about time that I introduced myself to the squad.
I'm a long term WWII/BE player, having joined the game in 2003 and have a BE1 badge for my sins.
For the first seven years of playing I played exclusively Allied and am a Lt Col in both British and French armies. I'm also ex AHC (never again will I be in any HC!!). Over time I've also become a trainer for CRS and have a 'T' on my game tag, although it really stands for 'Bit of a Tit'.
In addition, I was also CO of 40 Commando, a dedicated Allied squad. We specialised in hot dropping FBs via C47 or JU52 or raiding airfields miles behind Axis lines.
However, about three years ago I switched sides as I'd become bored of the Allied side. I'm now dedicated Axis with no intention of returning to the Allied side.
Unfortunately, 1.34 came along and for some reason my PC couldn't play BE so until I bought a new PC just before Xmas 2012, I was out of the game for the best part of a year.
And so there I was a few weeks ago, minding my own business guarding an FB when someone called Ohanselo sidled up to me, squeezed my knee and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
I've really enjoyed playing with the squad and you've all made me feel very welcome.
On a personal side, I live in a small town just north of London, UK with my wife and grown up daughter (no, you can't have pictures of her). When I'm not playing BE I'm a Service Manager for London Underground running the Piccadilly line when I'm on shift.
