Up and coming for the FF Empty
PostSubject: Up and coming for the FF   Up and coming for the FF EmptyThu Feb 13, 2014 11:45 pm

Judge, aka Randy, here to fill in the squad, in general, at up and coming goals within squad for the next few months.

These are not in any sort of order or detail, and have to pend approval by the CO, Striker as of yet.

FF Role Call

Campaign "Come Back Home"-

Launching a new initiative within the FF squad, I'll be starting an inter-FF campaign to bring back if possible, former members of the FF. One of these people I figured would help with this is Camrad. He will pretty much be doing what I can't by be here more often actively than I can offer, though, I'll be here on the forums as often as work can present me with the time to. "Come Back Home" is geared for bringing back former, past, or inactive members that we haven't seen in a while, or what have you. The previous titles of NCO or such, will be figured out, or what have you.

FF Section Leaders

I'm going to put forth to Striker, as we gain up some new, some old, that the NCO's take on the roll of being a time zone leader, respective to the time zones the are either on, or wish to lead up if they can. The idea will be to pass the Section Leader role to someone that has promise to being a NCO, but needs more time in. It puts them into a leadership role when no CO/XO/NCO is present, and there is some sort of leader to keep eyes on the target or goal, and cut down on the lone wolfing in dead times. These section leaders can present basic information for training in new people, like how to do a warp FRU, simple weapons applictions, leaving the NCO's for the more specific training of weapons, ect. Section leaders can prep new to the game guys the simple things we already know.

FF Training

Training is a must, at times that might feel worthless. Some of you don't need any training ever again (Eggert, bad ass of the FF), and some of us (Judge, over training to elation), need constant training and refreshment. Personal note, it is nice for the that know thier crap about everything, to sometimes drop just a post in General Chatter about weapon handling and/or things of note about the game currently that can give a heads up. Training is made to bring people together and work more together as unit, and I don't see why we can't have a few people specialist in certain weapons (Me and my trusty iron site rifle get a lot done, Hefty and grenadier, ect) show how well they can no only use these weapons, but see if people are more proficient in using certain weapons to handle offensive and defensive actions. Everyone will need to know how to not just PARA but know how to PARA very well, and use all thier weapons EXACTLY, including where to put the HE explosive charge correctly on every tank in game. Thats the FF's job to know that. Rest is based on mission requirements. The future in training will be small squad, small number training, and at times of slowness or intermission, larger, extensive training that require's multiple-person fire missions, and how to quickly get iron onto target to the simple ease of shooting a rifle and how to get into optimum positions for gaurding action.

FF Continuity

IN hand with new guys, old guys, and training, continuity suggests that the FF needs to function cohesively not just within our own squad, but others. Its been proposed to work with other squads, and there is NOTHING wrong with this. The axis win by working together, not loners on a wayward mission. Don't get me wrong, sometimes we do go out and do these what seem to be wayward missions, though, at times, they have thier respective reasons. Figure that we need to know what each of your fellow FF can, and can't do, and pick up the slack where you can. Working with other groups, you can be exposed to what works, and doesn't work. Just don't be critical of other group CO's, or staff. Learn what you can from them, it can be valuable down the road. Its not to be a requirement to do work with other squads, but at times, offer any help to others. Rockhit is one of those great guys that is willing to help us, as well as gladly accepting any from us.

FF Web Site

People think it sucks, and they're right. I'm up for any ideas on what makes the web site better, or making a whole 'nother one. I can't say much since I don't know jack shit about web sites these days, and well, Angelfire was the last one I made a page on. Yea, I'm old, get over it.

Thats whats on the slate kids. Recruitment is an active part of FF right now, and we need more guys not just for bodies, but people that can get out there work together, and make things happen.

Judgie

!S Judge, I think that I can certainly help you out with at least one part of your plan. I'm going to be resubscribing soon and just wanted to gauge the level of activity that is the norm for the game these days.

Well I've laid down a fair share of papework today, and I'm still not even done yet with other proposed things. Getting the gears turning for the FF is off to a slow start, but I hope the speed will gather.

Camrad, I hope you like being back in game once again, dude. I think its fair to say you were missed.

Camrad is really here guys, to take up my slack of not accually not in game and fighting along side of you. However, he is probably going to be back in HC as KM CO, so if navy is something you want to expound apon, he's your guy. He'll be recruiting, and doing as he can just like when Skunkmilk, Hefty or Wstriker will be doing with HC, but he should be around more often to do things, or what have you. I trust Camrad lots, make sure you kick his butt for not being around more often, then give him a pat on the back for comming back.

"Come Back Home" Campaign will be at work further today, and tomorrow for sure, to get guys of the FF maybe back together. I have written a note to pass along to any in AK that wish to see it apon request, that if they want to come back, whats going on. I prefer to be open to the idea of former members that went off to another group to come back if they so see fit providing that we don't have to "negotiate" heavily on some type of "conditions". The FF is going through a change, and needs people, and things, to change to be better with more defined lines of communication, along with roles, and the possibility of a new rank being added. What I have proposed is for senior staff to think over, at this time, and see what will happen.

Also with the idea of new members around and some former members, we will have to evaluate members that haven't been around, that want to come back, what thier rank was before they either disapeared, or had to quit due to fiscal (money) reasons. Now I will say that I have personaly been subjected to money problems and not able to get online to fight, but stay plenty active for a while on the website here to make up for that lack of being in game. The website here got lathargic for a few months as the din of the holidays, winter storms, and the alike, might of made for stressful times. We're still in winter and still sort of blue on the whole winter thing, but soon we'll get a little more up to speed.

Soon AU, NZ, and that parts of the world will be going into thier winter phases, and as this transition starts from our winter into summer, thier raining winter season will be apon them. These people we need to see in our late night/early morning slots in the FF, as for a very long time has been quiet ground for us, as Kritter left us for an Aussie squad. I can't blame him, cause not enough of us in his time zone could be there for him, and hang with him like I did a few times till the sun was way up in summer. He's good guy too, and I miss him, and maybe if we do get more members on in that time zone, we could see a return of him. Goals, people, goals. We need to fill in our own time zones, and establish them first.

Suggestions are good from anyone, and I'm posting in regular open messages to have anyone new, or old, not a member to read to understand that we're not hurting, but we are requesting people from the game that want to turn the gears and become more elite, well practiced para's that can do missions just as good as any Covert Op's squad can, but better.

una nos ero tergus

Together, we will be leathal

Well I'm thinking I'm 90% through "Come Back Home" for the FF now. I'm just waiting for more people to respond back into the squad chat.

More info on the coming months for you dirt darts-

For new and old alike, in the next few months I'll be putting into motion inter-squad challenges that you'll have to be present for. Yes, present. I'm going to bring back the "Mad Minute" again, but also, other areas of weapons, that we can set up an obstacle course, and ect to do timed runs into. Prizes will include gift cards as well as other things that aren't going to be mentioned yet, but in the future will be posted here.

There are things I'm planning to do to make you feel SPEEECCCCIAAALLLLL cause you're in the FF.

I'm up for other ideas in the mean time you might have.

So really, there will be times for 3 man training, to large squad training that isn't part of these challenges for prizes, but to train you on the way to do them, so when you know there will be a prize challenge up, you can practice. Rules to any event will more than likely be posted a month in advance, as well as the prizes for the events will be posted at that time too. The even will probably take place on a Saturday, I'd prefer on intermissions, but thats just too random to plan for.
