So Long FF

Hello Guys,

I just wanted to write to you all and say how very much I enjoyed playing WWIIOnline with FF. I gave it some thought and decided that the game itself isn't doing for me what it had done so long ago....

Let me explain.

When I played this game 12 years ago, the sides were somewhat authentic to the day and the material used was very close to balanced and authentic as well. The map was based solely on a team effort and controlled by a GHC that had to earn the trust of the players in order to gather the troops to work as one. The mistakes that were made weren't forced upon you as they are today when a GHC Officer goes rogue or decides to screw around. Thank God you have Striker, Sauron and RPW1 as part of that group now or I probably wouldn't last as long as I did.

I didn't sign on for a shoot'em up game like I feel this has become. I'm an Historian at heart and an armored enthusiast to boot. As I first entered this new version I had a goal, and that was to earn enough rank to take my Tiger for a spin. The first thing I noticed was that you could be a low rank to spawn a Tiger....The second thing I noticed was how paper thin it became.

So then I decided to tough it out as an infantryman, and I found the sniper cool to play at first, but not enough I'm afraid, to warrant continuing.

Therefore Gent, Ohan, Egg, Rpw, Sim, and all of you....If it wasn't for FF, I would have quit playing a long long time ago. You guys have an EXCELLENT squad here, and as someone who led the 12th Armie of the GHC a long time ago, I can definitely state for the record, FF is an asset to the Axis side and thanks for taking me in.

Damn man, I wish you weren't wondering off. You are a great team mate to have, as well as a damned good player. If you ever decide to come back in, look us up. You'll have a home here for sure. If you've never tried it, check out Hearts of Iron 3 from www.paradoxplaza.com. Awesome WWII grand strategy sim. Hopefully this game will be able to scrape together enough cash to launch 2.0, but first they've got to give folks a real reason to want to invest in them. Take it easy jac.

Jac. I always say the squad is only as good as its members. Rpw1, Wstriker, Genthc would never be as effective without the great guys that make this squad. Its a shame I only have a few limited opportunities to play with you personally but your an excellent player. I hope you'll stick it out sometime in the future. Haha and who knows maybe even make a little freebee account! But take care bud look forward to seeing you sometime in the future.

Jac is right, the only way to have a somewhat authentic experience in this game is to be playing with this crew.

I am sorry to see you go as of when you started playing with FF things really started to get real busy for me with work. As you know me from years past being a firefighter the summer keeps us busy. I only had 1 opportunity to play alongside you my old friend and you had no team speak that night. Guys this man is a great asset to have. As I can see from your responses ,you already knew that. Jac or jacubeck as I have always known him go way back to 2001/2002 in this game. We played in several squads together and led our own together. We had some real great times in this game and I am real sad to see him go. Especially now that I am literally a few weeks away from having my new machine built as my old comp is done. James as the rest of the guys indicated you have a home here. I myself love this squad and it has killed me to be away as long as I have. Next to our own squad we had Jac these guys are the greatest group to play in game with and am fortunate to have had Ohan flying the factories that night he recruited me. For the FF I will see you in game very very soon as I have missed the shit out of you guys. For Jac , I will greatly miss you buddy. You are the oldest friend I have in this game and have been so damn fortunate to have played so long with you all those years. Take care my friend and if you see those welcome back soldier things....join up for a few weeks and run with us man! See you soon brothers!

Thanks Guys for the kind words, and I will drop in once in a while to perhaps take advantage of one of those "free" accounts to see if things have changed to a better game play for me.

If FF allows it, I would like to stay an active member of the team so that when and if this is possible, you allow me to fight along side you in the squad. It would mean a lot to me and actually make this game much more enjoyable.

Damn, it's a real shame to see you go Jak. In many ways I understand where you are coming from with all the in game drama. Your CP defending skills are second to none and will be missed, hopefully you at least use a trail account and drop in to see your old friends. See yea Jak take care of yourself. Genthc

For what ever reason I just saw this post now. I am sorry you are leaving James. You are a great squaddie and that makes you a good guy. Come back and see us please. Take a break and come back refreshed and ready to play.
